Top Tips for Day to Day use
- Leave the backup key in the car or with someone you trust, so that you always have a plan B. (the keyhole is on the top)
- We recommend setting up at least 2 fingerprints and 1 passcode for each user.
- After multiple unsuccessful attempts, the system will be locked for 5 minutes, so it’s important to try a different way to unlock if you fail to unlock with one finger a few times.
- Some common reasons why occasionally your fingerprint may not be recognized, and what you can do:
- The finger is dirty or wet → try unlocking with another finger or passcode.
- When entering the fingerprint, you did not scan different parts of the fingers → delete the fingerprint and enter the fingerprint again. As the system identifies unique fingerprints in the unlocking records, you cannot enter the same fingerprints twice.
- When the battery is running low:
- You will receive both voice prompts on the lock and notification within the app, remember the replace the batteries in time.
- When the battery is dead, use a USB to USB-C charging cable to power the lock temporarily. Alternatively, use the backup key to unlock.
- You can send a one-time code easily — check the instructions below for more information.
